I love making mix CDs for people. It’s pretty much my staple birthday gift. But, I like poetry too and I’ve been wanting to share that joy with more of my friends and family members. So, this blog is a place to offer you a sort of “mix-tape” of poetry, meaning it’s a totally subjective collection of poems that I like and that I think my friends will like too. Most of these poems are already available on the internet or are old enough that I don’t think I’m violating any copyright laws or anything. If for some reason someone stumbles upon this and wants to sue me, just e-mail me and I’ll take your poem off. I really just want to share good poetry with good people and I guessing that most poets would just like to be read by someone somewhere… Plus, eventually, I’ll get around to linking up everything to the books they came from and then people can go buy ‘em. Whooo!
